Do you imagine hulking men with the arms and build of a bodybuilder moving your piano? Not really. :) Although the movers have to be quite strong it is far more important that they have a good sense of balance and the ability to size up the situation at hand. When moving a piano you are rolling through doorways or squeezing into elevators. Protecting your piano is the first and foremost consideration. We have invented special padding that enables us to protect the most vulnerable parts of the piano without adding bulk to the instrument (a very important consideration when there are only inches to spare). Another neglected area that typical movers are not concerned with is the small parts staying on the piano during the move. Casters very often fall off the piano during transport (pressure fit), mute rails can become disconnected, pedals may become dislodged, etc.
We inspect the piano before and after in several key areas for function and appearance. Fill out the form or call us to discuss your move. We will be glad to talk to you.
Crating a piano for an overseas shipment is a delicate job and it requires a knowledge of the stresses that are imposed on the crate and the piano.
Our crates are also built with screws for strength and easy disassembly at destination.
We store your piano secure and clean our warehouse.
